If you’re a follower of the London fitness scene, then chances are you’ve already heard of Un1t London.  They already have two locations, with studios in both Fulham and London Bridge. The workout’s are the best I’ve ever done, so I thought a full review post was a fitting tribute to the epic sweat sessions I’ve been enjoying down at Un1t!

One of the best bits is that there’s a really sociable crowd, so you can go by yourself and not feel intimidated or an outsider. The friendly inclusive vibes and team based workouts mean that you’ll feel at home right away.

The studio itself is super stylish and clean, with top quality equipment and shiny new weights.  There are showers (you can rent towels) and lovely changing rooms with all the essentials – hairdryer, straighteners etc that you’d expect at a boutique West London Studio.

Un1t Fulham - Workout Review

The classes are different every day, with strength based classes such as Force and Legion, and cardio based classes such as Entity and Grind. No matter which class you go to, you’ll have a tonne of fun, push yourself to your limit, and feel really proud of your efforts at the end. High fives all round!

One of the great options offered by Un1t is that they have a 7-day Challenge, which is where you can do a £20 7-day trial of the gym.  As the classes and set up are a little different to what you’d get at your bog standard basic bitch gym, you can test the waters. You get to experience Un1t in all it’s glory for a snip of the price, before you join as a member – and trust me, you’ll want to once you’ve tried it!

My 7-day Un1t Challenge

So I completed the 7-day challenge a couple of weeks ago, and honestly it’s been a game changer in the way I approach my fitness now. I have so much more of an appreciation for my body, and how quickly you can change your physique, fitness levels and fine tune your workout mindset. So I’ve always thought of myself as good as pushing myself when it comes to fitness, I’ve trained in Kickboxing, trained nearly every day throughout Uni for the Ladies Hockey 1st Team, and even used to paddle for Team GB Dragon Boating (random fact of the week for ya!). However, despite all of this previous fitness ‘experience’, nothing has been quite as eye opening as a week at Un1t. Gushing or what!?

Perhaps naively, I thought that I’d feel really tired, end up eating extra food, and feel hungry/worn out. However, I actually felt the total opposite. Despite doing a gruelling workout every day (bar one of their yoga sessions), I actually felt more energised, ate less and slept like a log. Springing up out of bed in the morning and feeling in an amazing mood. I felt powered up like never before, the results really surprised me. Shows how much good all those post workout endorphins can do for us! Also, it reminded me how sedentary our lifestyles are without realising, even if we do go for an hour in the gym, our bodies are craving more movement and challenge.

By really pushing myself at each session, I came away with a real sense of achievement, satisfaction and a wave of feel good serotonin vibes after each session. No wonder I am raving so much about this place. Honestly, at the very least, try out the 7-day challenge. It’ll get you back in the workout zone, remind you what you are capable of, supercharge your fitness levels, and leave you feeling on top of the world!

Team Un1t, you’ve got my vote!
